In August 2012, the Agua Clara visitor center was opened and became the ideal place to observe how the new locks were built; and since 2016, to appreciate the passage of the enormous Neopanamax ships. This experience will take from 4 to 5 hours, leaving the property at 8:00am. This experience needs to be reserve a day prior.
Visit the thriving metropolis of Panama City with its skyscrapers and the Museum of Biodiversity designed by Frank Gerhy. Be sure to have lunch and stroll through the old town, on the way back to El Otro Lado, visit the Miraflores locks on the Panama Canal.
